Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 9 October 2026

Who publishes this site

solidtheory.online is published by ISWORK s.r.o., Na Kozačce 1103/5, Vinohrady, 120 00 Praha 2, Czech Republic, company registration 24663158, VAT number CZ24663158. Reading the site means these terms apply between you and ISWORK s.r.o.

What the site is

It is a free, informational course about starting a free-to-play PC game. It is general information only. It is not professional advice, not legal, financial or security advice, and not advice about your particular circumstances. It is not accredited training, there is no sign-up and no certificate, and finishing it confers no qualification of any kind.

You remain responsible for your own decisions about what to install, which accounts to open and what to spend. Where a decision matters to you, check it against the primary source linked in the relevant step, or get advice from someone qualified to give it.

Accuracy and change

The course is written carefully and reviewed twice a year, and the date of the latest review appears in the footer. Even so, details go out of date between reviews. Game publishers change their system requirements, their prices, their purchase models and their account processes whenever they like, and they do not tell us. Government guidance is updated by the body that issues it.

Before acting on anything here that concerns a particular game, check the vendor's own current information. Where this course describes a specific game, the description comes from that vendor's published material, and we make no promise that it is still current at the moment you read it.

Other websites

This site links to government bodies, to vendors and, where disclosed, to paid affiliate destinations. None of those sites is under our control. We are not responsible for their content, their availability, their terms or their handling of your information, and a link is not an endorsement of anything beyond the specific point it is cited for.

Intellectual property

The text, layout and code of this site belong to ISWORK s.r.o. You are welcome to print the checklists for your own use and to quote short passages with attribution and a link. Republishing the course wholesale is not permitted.

All brand names on Solid Theory, Crossout among them, are the property of their owners. Except for the paid affiliate links described on our funding page, none of those owners is affiliated with Solid Theory, and none has endorsed or sponsored it.

Liability

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, ISWORK s.r.o. is not liable for loss arising from reliance on the information here, from any interruption to the site, or from anything that happens on a site you reach by following a link.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that applies under the Australian Consumer Law and cannot lawfully be excluded. Where such a guarantee applies and the law permits us to limit our liability for failing to comply, our liability is limited to resupplying the information or paying the cost of having it supplied again. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission publishes current information about consumer guarantees.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be revised. A revision takes effect when it is published here with a new effective date, and the version in force is the one on this page when you read the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, where ISWORK s.r.o. is established, and the courts there have jurisdiction. That does not displace any protection available to you as a consumer under the mandatory law of the place where you live, including the Australian Consumer Law if you are in Australia.
