Cookie Policy
Effective date: 9 October 2026
A cookie is a small file that a website asks your browser to store, so that it can recognise the same browser on a later request. Similar technologies do the same job by other means: localStorage and sessionStorage keep values in the browser, IndexedDB is a small in-browser database, tracking pixels are tiny images loaded from another server to register that a page was opened, and fingerprinting infers an identifier from the characteristics your browser reveals.
What we checked
- Cookies set by this site
- Not used. No page on solidtheory.online sets a cookie of any kind.
- Cookies set by others through this site
- Not used. Nothing here loads from another company's server, so no third party has the opportunity to set a cookie while you are on this domain.
- localStorage
- Not used. The script on this site opens the small-screen menu and triggers the print dialog, and writes nothing.
- sessionStorage
- Not used. Nothing is kept between pages or within a visit.
- IndexedDB
- Not used. There is no in-browser database.
- Tracking pixels
- Not used. There are no counting images, beacons or conversion tags on any page.
- Browser fingerprinting
- Not used. We do not collect browser or device characteristics in order to build an identifier.
- Web fonts and third-party scripts
- Not used. The site uses the fonts already installed on your computer and one short script of our own. It makes no request to any other server.
- Server access logs
- Used. Our hosting provider records a standard log entry for each request. This is the only entry on this list that says "used".
Why there is no consent banner
A consent banner exists to obtain permission before something is placed on your device. Nothing is placed on your device here, so there would be nothing to ask about. Showing a banner anyway would imply we set cookies and would be untrue, which is worse than having no banner at all.
What does happen when you open a page
Your browser requests the page, the stylesheet and the script from our host. Our hosting provider writes a log entry recording the IP address, the date and time, the URL requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the user-agent string. Those entries are kept for 30 days and used for security, abuse prevention and fault diagnosis. That is the complete list of what happens, and the Privacy Policy describes it in the same terms.
The checklists do not remember your ticks
The boxes beside the checklist items are shapes drawn with CSS, not controls. Nothing records which items you have completed, because recording it would mean storing something in your browser, and we store nothing — no cookie, no localStorage, no sessionStorage, no IndexedDB, no fingerprint and no pixel. Print the All checklists page and tick it with a pen, or copy the items into a note of your own.
After you follow an affiliate link
Some links here are paid affiliate links. Once you follow one you are on somebody else's website, and the destination site, the game vendor Crossout and the affiliate network that operates the link may set cookies or use similar technology on their own domains to record where the visit came from. ISWORK s.r.o. does not control those, cannot see them and is not responsible for them. Their own cookie and privacy notices are the place to look.
Blocking or clearing cookies in general
Every current browser lets you see what has been stored, delete it, and refuse new cookies. The controls sit in the settings menu, usually under a heading such as privacy, security or site data, and they allow you to clear everything, clear data for one site, or block cookies entirely or only from third parties. Browsers also offer a private or incognito window that discards storage when it is closed. None of this changes anything about this site, since there is nothing here to clear, but it is worth knowing for the rest of the web.
If this ever changes
If we ever introduce a cookie or any similar technology, this page will be updated and republished with a new effective date first, and a working consent mechanism will be in place before any such technology is used. We will not add one quietly and describe it afterwards.
